I am Olivier J-P Kpognon, an international lifestyle "documenteur" and the founder of O & Co. Media Group. I established this full-service photography, film, and design studio in 2003, earning a formidable reputation for creativity, talent, and professionalism among peers and clients alike.

My client roster includes multinational corporations such as GE, Boehringer Ingelheim, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Diageo, UBS, and Kraft Foods. While proud of my work with these global entities, I also cherish relationships with local small businesses and contribute by teaching photography to high school students in my community.

As the official photographer for Fred’s Team at the renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, I played a significant role in the annual New York City Marathon. My company caters to private clients, offering services like portraits, family photography, and coverage of special events, including weddings.

Born in Belgium to a French mother and a Beninese father, and raised in the Washington DC area, I developed a keen appreciation for international travel, style, design, and the arts. Since launching O & Co. Media Group, I have traversed the United States and the world, capturing clients' most memorable moments.

An active member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) and Professional Photographers of America (PPA), my work regularly graces the pages of bridal magazines such as Destination I Do and World Bride Magazine. In 2012, I was honored as Entrepreneur of the Year by the Westchester and Greater Connecticut Chapter of the National Black MBA Association.

My success stems from the decision to leave a 10-year corporate finance career in commercial banking to pursue my passion. My advice to all is simple: "Know you can follow your passion; finding your passion is key. Talent alone is not enough, and if you do what you’re passionate about, you will be more motivated to succeed." One of my favorite quotes encapsulates my approach: "I love what I do, and I do what I love."

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from Virginia Tech and a Master of Arts in Finance and International Economics from the American University in Washington, DC. Fluent in French, proficient in Spanish, I currently reside in Connecticut.
