Switching up from the usual & exploring. Loving what you do is half the battle. We recently had an opportunity to do a fashion shoot for an up & coming model, Chandilyn Coleman. Can’t deny it, she has the X factor… I am confident her career in modeling will flourish.
Our dream team consisted of AMAZING make up artist & designer,Harry Jefferson, stylist amongst many other titles, Karha Sanon, myself, & Chandilyn’s grandfather, who truly believes in her & made this all happen, Eric Wright. We shot the images at the chic restaurant 42 / Bellotta located in White Plains, CT on top of the Ritz Carlton. 42 / Belotta is a must, for anyone who wants ambiance & dinning experience like no other with breath taking views of New York from the 42nd floor. The pleasant surprise it that there are two restaurants within the same space with a magnificent bar area! It’s one my favorite places to entertain & soon will be yours. To Jarett & Collin @ 42 / Bellotta who run the restaurants, THANK YOU. Tell them I sent you, you’ll be in good hands. Executive Chef Anthony
Goncalves/ Owner & great friend makes some exquisite dishes! Enjoy, let me know what your think. “It’s truly different up here…”

We had an amazing time shooting Dawn & Rey for their engagement session. Their story is truly special… as friends, lovers, and soon to be husband & wife I can see that love can conquer it all…. We went back to were it all started at Port Chester High School… The image of Rey down on his knees is where he originally proposed and the image of the lockers is where they used to hang out before & after class.
Here’s their story…The story of Dawn and Reynaldo starts off at Port Chester High School in September of 1994. It was the beginning of their sophomore year of high school in which they shared a math class together. However, Dawn did not know that Rey was in her class! Her friend Cristian (who is also Rey’s cousin) came up to her and introduced the two of them. From that point on a great friendship started. For many years and even after graduation, Dawn and Rey were constantly teased about their friendship but they ignored everyone and remained close friend, – always in each other’s lives.
It wasn’t until Rey moved to Vegas that their relationship grew stronger. The distance of not seeing each other or being around each other made them realize that there might be something more to their relationship. When Rey moved back to New York he asked Dawn out. No one was surprised and many “I told you so’s” followed.
Dawn and Rey dated for 8 years before getting engaged. One night, Dawn was out with a friend and when she came home late at night, Rey was not home. She called him and he was out looking for something to eat. She told him to come home and she would go sit at the diner with him. On their way to the diner, Rey told Dawn he had something to show her and took her to the high school. As they were walking, Dawn turned around to ask Rey what he was trying to show her and found Rey on one knee in the exact same spot as the two pictures above! He asked her “Will you marry me” and it was followed by a few screams of “oh my god’s” and then a very big “YES!”
One of Dawn and Rey’s favorite stories of their engagement is when their moms saw each other for the first time after their engagement that weekend. Both moms looked at each other, threw up their hands, and high-fived one another as Mary, Rey’s mom said “WE DID IT!”
Dawn and Rey cannot wait to start a new chapter in their lives surrounded by their family and friends in September! The big day is approaching fast…

“Kurt and I actually met on a blind date. One my friends, Adam, worked with Kurt at Verizon. I went in to visit Adam all the time but Kurt & I never noticed each other. One day after I left Adam went over to Kurt while he was with a customer and told him he had to go on a date with me. Kurt kept saying no thinking it was a prank, but eventually the whole store (customers included) pressured Kurt to going on a blind date. Adam had to convince me next. After a few days of pressure I finally agreed. Kurt didn’t have Facebook so there was no way to stalk him ahead of time. We agreed to meet at Olive Garden. We immediately began talking and found we had a lot in common. It took us 45 minutes to order dinner… And the rest is history

Today we have the pleasure of featuring an amazing couple Kimberly + Germaine who are getting married this August, at the VIP Club in New Rochelle, NY. We recently shot their engagement session at Waverny Park in New Canaan, CT. The day was absolutely beautiful and they were equally stunning. “Germaine and I met 6 years ago in my home town, Port Chester, NY. I was visiting a friend and from afar I saw this very tall and handsome man. As he approached closer he decided to stop where we were standing and told me I was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Of course I couldn’t stop smiling! At that moment he made me feel like I was the only woman in the world……and he has continued to make me feel that way ever since. I knew in my heart from the very first day we met, we would be together forever. Then one day it really happened…… Germaine got on one knee and asked for my hand in marriage. On August 31st 2012 we will become one and take this journey through life together.”
Kim + Germaine thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day!
